The Amount of the 2015 APBD Deemed Realistic

The revision of Jakarta Budget Priorities and Preliminary Thresholds (KUA-PPAS) to set the amount of the 2015 City Budget (APBD) is scheduled to be discussed by the executive and legislative today, Wednesday (11/5).

Initially, we were targeting Rp 81.5 trillion. But, we are worried that if not achieved, it would not be good

Initially, the amount of regional revenue and financing acceptance for the 2015 APBD, that was submitted in last July, was amounting Rp 81.5 trillion. But after being revised, the amount dropped to Rp 76 trillion.

“I just want to be realistic. I will report it to Acting Jakarta Governor, (the amount of the 2015 APBD proposed is) around Rp 76 trillion,” said City Secretary Saefullah, at City Hall, Wednesday (11/5).

The 2015 APBD Amount Proposed Reduced

Saefullah assessed that revenue as much as Rp 76 trillion is not too bad. The amount is also in line with the regional mid-term development plan (RPJMD).

“Initially, we were targeting Rp 81.5 trillion. But, we are worried that if not achieved, it would not be good. Hopefully the 2015 APBD could be ratified as soon as possible and run smoothly,” he expressed.

Meanwhile, DPRD Deputy Chairman Triwisaksana reminds the executive to be more careful in drafting the 2015 APBD.

“That’s why it is better to be low profile and realistic,” he asserted.

For information, the details of KUA-PPAS which has been submitted consist of Rp 44 billion that comes from regional original revenue (PAD), balance fund Rp 21.3 trillion, other legitimate local revenues Rp 6.1 trillion, the 2014 budget surplus (Silpa) Rp 9 trillion, and regional loan as much as Rp 1.1 trillion.
